Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting, managing high-risk and critically ill infants
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, hospitalists and subspecialists to deliver family-centered care
• Participate in neonatal transports alongside a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist
• Lead and coordinate care plans within a multidisciplinary team, supporting nurses and ancillary services
• Perform thorough clinical documentation and communicate clearly with families about care plans and progress
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain high standards of clinical practice

Qualifications

• NNP Board Certified (mandatory) — FNP, PNP or other NP certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2+ years current experience as an NNP (no new graduate candidates)
• Experience working in a Level III NICU and with neonatal transport is preferred
• Locum candidates are not being considered for this position

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in neonatal care and NICU management
• Experience with neonatal transport processes and teamwork during transports
• Comfort working in a Level III NICU and managing high-risk deliveries and critically ill infants
• Strong team-based, multidisciplinary collaboration skills
