Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator systems for patients
Administer nebulizer treatments and respiratory therapies
Provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
Assist with intubations as directed by the medical team
Monitor and care for neonatal patients including those on Bubble CPAP
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapy License
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience with Level 2 nursery competency
Strong ventilator management skills including PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator setup and management
Knowledge of Bubble CPAP and neonatal respiratory care
Skilled in ABG collection and interpretation
Experience with conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
