Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with 8-hour and 4-hour variations; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology, trauma, and medical-surgical patients
Monitor and manage telemetry, titrate drips like heparin and cardizem, and assist with chemotherapy administration
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to PCU and MedSurg units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Use EPIC for charting and Alaris IV pumps for precise medication delivery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
EPIC experience preferred, but not required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC charting system
Experienced with Alaris IV pumps and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Comfortable with chemotherapy administration and ventilator management
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, mixed-acuity environment
