Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro tele patients with conditions such as CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, and more
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate IV drips including Heparin, Amio, and Cardizem
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining strict sterile field
Conduct comprehensive neuro assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Administer medications, manage patient education, and ensure safe discharges

Qualifications

Active RN license in state of practice
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience mandatory
Neuro experience highly preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Expertise in titration of cardiac drips
Competent in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Understanding of sterile field maintenance
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
