Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical patients with diverse diagnoses including CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, and post-operative recovery
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry, working collaboratively with CCU staff
Titrate drips as needed (e.g., Heparin, Bumex) and respond to changing patient conditions
Assist with floating as a 'helping hand' to other departments when fully cross-trained
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Current RN license (OR license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and negotiate holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in managing common med-surg diagnoses and post-operative care
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and drips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
