Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care for assigned patients
Assess, monitor and document patient condition and response to treatment
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Participate in orientation and unit-based training to support a smooth transition

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact multistate license preferred)
Clinical experience in Med/Surg and/or Pediatrics preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with strong teamwork skills
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical decision making
Medication administration and IV therapy skills
Pediatric care fundamentals and age-appropriate communication
Accurate documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely
