Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support while documenting thoroughly in EPIC
• Respond to overnight and weekend on-call needs promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain compliance with required screenings, immunizations, and health documentation
• Participate in department training and competency validation (Prime Core Competencies / Prime Skills Checklist)
• Support quality improvement efforts and contribute to a culture of patient safety

Qualifications

• EPIC experience required — comfortable navigating and documenting in EPIC
• BLS certification required
• Prior clinical experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including PM and graveyard/night coverage, and be available for on-call assignments (overnight/weekends)
• Willingness to complete required screenings and certifications: DCI/BVP, Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist
• Must meet pre-employment health requirements: drug screening (min 10-panel), color-blind test, annual TB questionnaire or testing (PPD / chest x-ray if positive), fit test, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health record workflows
• Solid clinical judgment and patient-centered care skills
• Comfort with night/overnight clinical environments and on-call responsibilities
• Attention to detail for documentation, testing, and compliance tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills across disciplines
