Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays, with 30-minute on-call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision and care
Utilize Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems for accurate documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and lead techs to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain a safe and sterile environment following ARRT and BLS standards
Float to nearby Mercy Southwest location as needed (approx 6.5 miles)

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification
At least 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience
Ability to start IVs? Not required for this role
Comfortable with rotating call and holiday shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in GE and Toshiba radiology equipment
Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable to fast-paced environment with high scan volume (100 scans/day)
