Candidate Pay Rate: $68 - $47.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to help residents regain function
Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities that make daily life easier for residents
Monitor and report patient progress and responses to therapy to ensure care is effective
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions to keep the team informed
Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive resident recovery
Educate residents on safe mobility techniques and exercises to promote independence

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy experience preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Education

Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program

Knowledge & Skills

Therapeutic exercise and mobility training
Patient monitoring and progress reporting
Accurate and timely documentation practices
Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Resident education on safe mobility techniques
