Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Terrace, CA
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 - $47.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to help residents regain function
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities that make daily life easier for residents
- Monitor and report patient progress and responses to therapy to ensure care is effective
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions to keep the team informed
- Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive resident recovery
- Educate residents on safe mobility techniques and exercises to promote independence
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
- Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy experience preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Education
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Therapeutic exercise and mobility training
- Patient monitoring and progress reporting
- Accurate and timely documentation practices
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Resident education on safe mobility techniques
