Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and mentor nursing teams across Cath Lab and ICU departments
Oversee pre-procedure preparation, recovery, and bedside procedure support
Enhance nursing competency and build a positive, patient-focused culture
Manage moderate sedation and titrate vasoactive drips as needed
Collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality cardiac and critical care
Monitor telemetry and interpret strips for intraprocedural and ICU patients

Qualifications

Current RN license in Kansas or active compact license
Minimum 3 years RN experience with 1 year management experience
At least 1 year clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in critical care, telemetry, and fluoroscopy preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical leadership and team-building skills
Proficient in managing vasoactive drugs, heparin, IIb/IIIa, and blood products
Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patients independently
Knowledge of Cath Lab procedures: cardiac, vascular, EP, IR, non-invasive cardiology
Familiarity with ICU diagnoses: sepsis, DKA, STEMI, COPD exacerbation, CKD
