Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
Operate advanced Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and E.CAM systems
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostics
Maintain radiation safety protocols and proper documentation
Train on new equipment as needed - no prior Siemens experience required

Qualifications

Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent PET experience (required)
DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days
Active driver's license (required for submittal and distance verification)
Must live outside 50 miles from Omaha and not be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine technology and PET/CT imaging
Experience with Siemens PET/CT and gamma cameras (training available)
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to adapt to new equipment and protocols
