Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 06-14-2026

End Date: 09-13-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating after-hours call (starting at 4:30 PM); rotating weekends and holidays.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including cardiac stress tests, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients safely and accurately.
Operate GE equipment and maintain Radnet and Merge Unity software for image acquisition and processing.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.
Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout procedures.

Qualifications

Active California Nuclear Medicine Technology License (CA NMTL)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Proficiency in SPECT, cardiac imaging, bone scans, and general nuclear medicine studies.
Ability to start IVs (if required) - not required for this role.
