Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process under RN supervision
Provide skilled nursing care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), monitoring resident condition and reporting changes
Assume charge nurse duties when assigned, coordinating care and guiding the nursing team
Document resident care and treatments accurately using electronic systems and maintain clinical records
Collaborate with RNs, care team members, and families to implement individualized care plans
Apply sound clinical judgment to prioritize tasks, plan workload, and ensure resident safety

Qualifications

Current California LVN license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Minimum of 1 year of LVN experience
Graduate of an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems

Education

Graduated from an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing process and clinical judgment
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) practices and resident care
Charge nurse capabilities and team coordination
CPR and basic life support knowledge
Computer proficiency for documentation and charting
Strong written and verbal communication

Benefits

Progressive pay scale with 30 incremental steps to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
