Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN
Administer medications and document accurately during overnight shifts
Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe care plans
Assist residents with activities of daily living while preserving dignity
Maintain accurate charting and conduct thorough shift handoffs for continuity

Qualifications

Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
Graduation from an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
Ability to pass facility background and health screening requirements
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate documentation
Basic nursing assessment and vital sign monitoring
Infection control and safety procedures
Electronic health record (EHR) navigation and charting
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
