Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a safe care environment
Document care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Actively contribute to a positive patient experience and promote dignity

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required
Experience in acute care preferred
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical teams
Current basic health requirements as required by the facility (e.g., immunizations) — to be confirmed at hire

Education

CNA certification required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of patient safety, infection control, and acute care basics
Skilled in vital signs monitoring and basic patient assessments
Proficient in safe patient handling and transfers
Accurate basic documentation and charting skills
Team-oriented with strong bedside manner and empathy
