Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) to preserve dignity and independence
Take and record vital signs accurately to support care planning and clinical decisions
Collect and communicate resident information to caregivers, nurses, and providers to ensure continuity of care
Answer resident call lights promptly and provide compassionate, timely assistance
Observe skin integrity, perform turning and repositioning, and report changes to prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair while following proper body mechanics
Maintain cleanliness in the resident care area, change sheets, and restock supplies to support a safe environment

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Ability to communicate effectively in English — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Comfortable working under pressure in a long-term care setting
Demonstrated ability to perform resident transfers and ADLs safely

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in ADLs, bathing, dressing, and personal care
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Experienced with resident transfers, turning, and repositioning
Ability to observe and report skin integrity changes
Good interpersonal communication and teamwork
Able to restock supplies and maintain cleanliness in care areas
Comfortable collecting and relaying patient information to the clinical team

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Pay scale with 30 incremental pay steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience
