Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care and support to residents/patients with dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding
• Take and accurately document vital signs and routine observations
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
• Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (CNA) — must be valid for Pennsylvania
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working in a long-term/acute care setting
• Current CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently during assigned shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and accurate charting skills
• Understanding of infection control, PPE use, and safe patient handling
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
