Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varies (Per Diem schedule), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift (as scheduled)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and safety
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention practices

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Pennsylvania (required)
Current basic healthcare certifications as required by facility (e.g., TB screening, immunizations)
Ability to pass background checks and mandated facility onboarding
Dependable, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic infection control and safety practices
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
Accurate documentation habits and attention to detail
Teamwork, adaptability, and time management in fast-paced care settings
