Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, documenting changes and reporting concerns
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers and safe mobility
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support emotional needs of patients and families with respectful communication
Accurately document care in the patient record and communicate handoffs clearly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Dependable, compassionate, with strong teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection prevention and proper use of PPE
Accurate documentation and clear shift-to-shift communication
Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical team
