Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiology team during cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures with precision and calm
• Operate and maintain imaging and cath lab equipment such as GE, Philips, and MacLab systems
• Provide electrophysiology (EP) and pre/post procedural patient care, ensuring comfort and safety
• Monitor patient vitals and support STEMI care pathways when emergent cases arrive
• Ensure strict sterile technique and adherence to unit policies and protocols
• Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and techs to coordinate efficient, high-quality care
• Document procedures and patient status accurately in the EMR (MediTech) and assist with handoffs

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab / EP Tech or related interventional cardiac setting
• Demonstrated Cath Lab experience is required
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR and common imaging systems (GE, Philips, MacLab)
• Preferred certifications: RCIS, ARRT, CVT; RN candidates with Cath Lab experience are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Experience with EP procedures and STEMI care workflows
• Comfortable using and troubleshooting GE, Philips, and MacLab equipment
• Skilled in patient monitoring, sterile technique, and peri-procedural care
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cardiac lab environment
