Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely records
Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy about care plans and instructions
Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — eligible to practice in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications are a plus
Comfortable with per diem scheduling and flexible availability
Strong clinical assessment and safe medication administration skills
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements including background checks

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and accurate documentation
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Infection prevention and safety practices
Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
