Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, expert nursing care in the inpatient interventional radiology setting
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety at every step
• Manage patient recovery, assess status, and coordinate timely handoffs
• Document all care and interventions accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, techs and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Maintain currency of certifications and follow sterile technique and safety protocols

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
• Current California RN license with the Board of Registered Nursing
• Experience using Epic EMR
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and patient care
• Proven skills in procedural sedation and post-procedure recovery monitoring
• Comfortable and accurate Epic EMR documentation
• Ability to assess, triage and prioritize in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
