Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions that improve mobility, function and quality of life
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention strategies
• Adapt treatments based on patient response and discharge planning goals

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy (as noted in the posting)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation best practices

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise and mobility training
• Knowledge of orthopedic and/or inpatient rehab protocols
• Ability to create clear, goals-oriented treatment plans
• Competent in safe patient handling and assistive device training
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management and prioritization skills
