Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate neonatal intensive care for critically ill newborns and infants
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support including HFNC, SiPAP, and HFOV
- Perform and assist with procedures such as intubation, chest tubes, and central/PICC line care
- Monitor and titrate complex infusions using feeding pumps and IV pumps while maintaining precise documentation
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and support families through high-stress situations with patience and clear communication
- Accurately document patient care in the EMR (CPN/Meditech) and ensure continuity at handoff
Qualifications
- Active RN credential (Registered Nurse) required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- STABLE certification required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience required; posting lists 4 years of overall experience
- Proven experience with ventilator management and advanced neonatal procedures (intubation, central/PICC line care)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and providing family-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Neonatal Intensive Care practices and neonatal resuscitation
- Experience with ventilators and respiratory modalities: HFNC, SiPAP, HFOV, mechanical ventilation
- Skill in central line, PICC, and PIV management and troubleshooting
- Proficient with feeding pumps, IV pumps, and other NICU equipment
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically CPN/Meditech
- Ability to perform or assist with intubations and emergency neonatal procedures
