Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate efficient patient care
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the EMR
• Participate in unit-specific competency testing and skills checklists to maintain standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state verification required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications current
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications as listed
• Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry settings
• Successful completion of license/certificate verification and facility-required health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Med/Surg clinical assessment and interventions
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Proficient charting and documentation in electronic medical records
• Infection control practices and safe bedside procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
