Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with 1-2 nights of call per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, Neuro/Spine, CVT, Ortho, GYN, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient procedures in an 11-room surgical suite
Serve as a preceptor and mentor when opportunities arise, helping shape the next generation of OR nurses
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech while upholding the highest standards of patient safety
Respond to on-call needs with flexibility and professionalism, supporting trauma and heart teams as required

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of current acute care hospital OR experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Charge nurse experience and precepting background are highly valued
Prior Meditech experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible, easy-going approach to changing surgical schedules
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
Willingness to take call and support trauma and heart teams
