Location: Panama City, Florida

Start Date: 11-21-2025

End Date: 05-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Verify and double-check pediatric oral and IV solutions to keep our tiniest patients safe
Prepare sterile medications and TPN calculations using USP 797 & 800 guidelines
Perform PK dosing for Aminoglycoside and Vancomycin with precision
Review CPOE orders for accuracy and intervene when something looks off
Lead drug therapy management protocols including anticoagulation and antimicrobial stewardship
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to keep operations running smoothly
Detect and report adverse drug reactions quickly to protect patients
Troubleshoot Pyxis issues and keep medication distribution on track

Qualifications

Current Florida pharmacist license required
PharmD or Bachelor's degree with recent acute care hospital experience
2 years of experience preferred
BLS and ACLS helpful but not required
NICU/PICU/Peds experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pharmaceutical calculations and PK dosing expertise
Comfortable with Meditech and Pyxis systems
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Excellent attention to detail when checking orders
Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for patient safety
