Start Date: 06-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required, 36-hour guarantee
Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing care following physician orders and nursing standards
- Provide hands-on patient care including medication administration, treatments, and assistance with daily activities
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the care team to update patient plans
- Process physician orders accurately and promptly to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor medication changes and clarify orders to maintain patient safety
Qualifications
- Active Michigan nursing license required
- 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
- Oncology experience required
- Comfortable caring for step-down patients
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of cancer pathophysiology and oncology care
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
- Experience with step-down level patients
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
