Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from a central command center
- Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
- Accurately document and communicate critical changes to local RN staff
- Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
- Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics through vigilant monitoring
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating job knowledge
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms section (one chance only)
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Strong candidates may have 3 months of education waived
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG Interpretation and Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
- Ability to monitor up to 60 patients using advanced IT technology
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual hospital setting
