Registered Nurse - MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across MedSurg Telemetry and Progressive Care units
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while managing titratable drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
- Float between campuses to support patients with post-MI, post-Cardiac Cath, CABG recovery, and ortho needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aids to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Tele
- Respond to unit assignments communicated via text message and travel between campuses as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
- Comfortable managing multiple cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts before contract signing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
- Flexibility to float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses
