Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to a diverse patient population including surgical, neuro, and telemetry patients
- Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless care
- Support patients recovering from orthopedic, spinal, and general surgeries with expert nursing interventions
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed, showcasing your adaptability and clinical versatility
- Educate patients and families on managing conditions like diabetes, respiratory issues, and post-stroke recovery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Background with general surgical, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended due to minimal orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
- Basic cardiac monitoring and documentation
- Patient education and family communication
- Cerner electronic medical records navigation
- Collaboration with charge nurses and remote monitor techs
