Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
- Support postpartum recovery and educate new parents on newborn care
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
- Float to other units when needed to provide extra support and companionship
- Maintain accurate documentation using the OB Trace Vue system
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
- Experience with EFM monitoring and OB Trace Vue system
- Ability to titrate drips and manage high-risk antepartum patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable to limited resources and distance from NICU support
