Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and 1 summer plus 1 winter holiday required, with standby call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend deliveries as the baby nurse providing expert newborn care
- Start and maintain IVs while monitoring vital signs
- Transfer patients to higher levels of care when needed
- Support newborns with Bubble CPAP, HiFlow, and phototherapy
- Assist with umbilical line placement and maintenance
- Flex between SCN and postpartum assignments based on unit needs
- Administer and titrate drips including D5W and TPN
- Provide compassionate care for newborns with respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, and NOW
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington
- NRP and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years combined NICU Level 2 and postpartum experience preferred
- Skilled in attending deliveries as the baby nurse
- Proficient with IV starts, Bubble CPAP, HiFlow, and umbilical line assistance
Knowledge & Skills
