Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and inspire nursing teams across both Cath Lab and ICU departments
Oversee pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedure support with moderate sedation
Build a positive unit culture that enhances nursing competency and patient outcomes
Coordinate care for cardiac, vascular, and critical care patients with complex needs
Mentor staff while managing staffing, scheduling, and floating requirements
Ensure high-quality care delivery through effective leadership and clinical oversight

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
Strong background in critical care, telemetry, and vasoactive drip management
Experience with moderate sedation and procedural support preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Leadership skills to guide teams and foster positive culture
Proficiency with ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT
Experience managing cardiac, vascular, and critical care patients
Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and support moderate sedation
Strong communication and mentoring abilities
Flexibility to float and support multiple departments
