Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized care to our tiniest patients in a Level 3 NICU
Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in condition
Collaborate with a dedicated team of neonatologists and specialists
Support families through education and emotional guidance during their NICU journey
Maintain accurate documentation using CPN and Meditech systems
Ensure a safe, nurturing environment using advanced equipment like Giraffe isolettes and GE monitors

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
BLS and NRP certifications preferred
Not a first-time traveler preferred
Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in neonatal care
Experience with medfusion pumps, Alaris, and Giraffe isolettes
Familiarity with CPN and Meditech EMR systems
Ability to maintain strict infection control and dress code standards
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
