Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients across acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during conferences and family training
Recommend and train patients on adaptive devices and equipment
Guide safe and effective discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in Florida
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience
Willingness to work on the IRF unit
Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment
Discharge planning expertise
Hospital or IRF experience highly valued
Stroke and neuro rehabilitation experience a plus
Comfortable using EMR systems like Meditech
