Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert speech therapy services across acute care and inpatient rehab units
Conduct bedside swallow evaluations to support patient recovery
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population
Document patient progress using Meditech system
Adapt to floating between acute and rehab settings with ease

Qualifications

Active Missouri SLP license required
Minimum 1 year of experience in speech therapy
Strong clinical skills in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
Comfortable working in fast-paced trauma and stroke environments
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude
