Location: El Paso, Texas

Start Date: 01-06-2026

End Date: 04-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with call requirements twice per schedule and two weekends per schedule (AM Saturday and Sunday, PM Friday and Saturday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Circulate the OR confidently during C-section deliveries
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to any changes
Support families through inductions, postpartum recovery, and outpatient OB services
Collaborate with a tight-knit team to ensure every delivery is safe and memorable

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience including circulating C-sections
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Postpartum care experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor & Delivery background with C-section circulation skills
Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring, Panda warmers, and Hill-Rom labor beds
Experience with CPN and Meditech EMR systems
Knowledge of oxytocin protocols, maternal hemorrhage, and preeclampsia guidelines
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced unit with 2:1 labor ratios
