Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients across all sections of the ED
Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-cultural team serving a community that speaks over 120 languages
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner while delivering patient-centered care
Support patients and families with clear communication and real-time coaching
Float within the ED as needed while embracing flexibility and teamwork

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience and 1 year in an ER setting
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits
Previous HCA experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real time
Comfort working with Baxter pumps and GE monitors
Experience with Cerner documentation system
Commitment to AIDET communication and respectful patient interactions
Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
