Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week including both day and night options

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU/PCU setting
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver evidence-based treatment plans
Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and recovery expectations
Document assessments and interventions accurately to support continuity of care
Uphold Regional West's Low/Mid/High performer standards to ensure excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of ICU or PCU nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Ventilator management and hemodynamic support
Patient and family education
Electronic documentation and care coordination
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
