Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing for post-cardiac surgery patients in a 19-bed CVICU/CVRU unit
Monitor and manage advanced cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, LVADs, and ECMO
Perform essential procedures such as pulling chest tubes, pacer wires, and hemodynamic monitoring
Collaborate with highly trained charge nurses and educators to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to other ICUs and step-down units as needed while maintaining the highest standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of CVICU or CVRU experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Critical care training with a passion for surgical heart care
High energy, upbeat personality with a love for learning

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care and cardiac surgery nursing skills
Experience with advanced cardiac devices and recovery room care
Proficiency with GE monitors and Cerner EMR documentation
Ability to work 1:1 or 1:2 ratios based on patient acuity
