Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Denver, Colorado

Start Date: 01-06-2026

End Date: 02-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call 1 night a week and 1 weekend per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians during complex neuro and vascular interventional procedures
Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens bi-plane systems
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout every procedure
Collaborate with the IR team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and GE Centricity PACS

Qualifications

ARRT RT (R) certification required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 6 months recent acute care hospital IR Tech experience
Neuro interventional experience preferred (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
Strong knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with Siemens bi-plane and single-plane imaging systems
Comfortable working in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced interventional lab
