Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with a dynamic team across all sections of the Emergency Department
Monitor patients using Baxter pumps and GE monitors while documenting in Cerner
Deliver exceptional patient experiences through AIDET communication and real-time updates
Support behavioral health patients with care and professionalism
Coach teammates and give constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience including 1 year in an ER setting
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
ENPC certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
Preferred experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits
Previous HCA experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork mentality and ability to float within all areas of the ED
Comfortable working with Cerner documentation and Baxter pumps
Skilled in using GE monitors and managing varied patient ratios
Excellent communication and real-time coaching skills
Flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic needs of the department
