Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safe deliveries
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support positive birth experiences
Educate and support families through every stage of the birthing process
Respond quickly and confidently to any changes during labor and delivery

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring and assessment skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced delivery settings
Team collaboration and critical thinking
