Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care to trauma, burn, and surgical ICU patients
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
Perform advanced procedures including wound care, EVD management, and massive transfusion protocols
Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units as needed to support patient care across the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
Strong background in Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU settings
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care monitoring and assessment
Wound care and advanced life support procedures
Meditech electronic medical record system
Team collaboration and adaptability across multiple ICU and PCU units
