Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 2-weekend 24-hour call shifts in 6 weeks and 1 night a week on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with a variety of endoscopy procedures including EBUS, Bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, Colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
Provide compassionate pre-op and PACU care across 9 pre-op bays and 6 PACU bays
Collaborate with a dynamic team using state-of-the-art Olympus scopes and ERBE equipment
Document accurately in Cerner and Provation EMR systems
Float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-OP, or OR when needed to support patient care
Respond to on-call needs including 2 weekend 24-hour shifts every 6 weeks

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy experience
Scheduling flexibility and willingness to work variable day shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Endoscopy nursing expertise with Olympus scopes and processors
Strong assessment and procedural support skills
Comfortable floating between Pre-Op, PACU, and Procedure rooms
Familiarity with Cerner and Provation documentation systems
