Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a Level I Trauma Surgical Trauma ICU
Manage advanced equipment including ventilators, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to other ICUs or Step Down units as needed, showcasing flexibility and adaptability
Perform and assist with critical procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and CRRT
Document patient care accurately using Cerner Power Chart

Qualifications

Active and valid Nursing License required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Trauma ICU experience at a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and intervention skills
Experience with EVDs, wound vacs, Prisma Max CRRT, and GE ventilators
Ability to manage 1:2 patient ratios in a 20-bed unit
Comfortable floating to MICU, NSICU, CVICU, CICU, or Step Down units
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
