Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all acuity levels in a fast-paced emergency setting
Administer medications and perform critical interventions for patients in urgent need
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, EMTs, and mid-level providers to ensure seamless patient experiences
Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to stabilize and support patients from arrival through discharge
Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with lab services to support timely diagnoses and treatment plans

Qualifications

Active RN license in Virginia or compact license
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
ENPC certification is a plus and will be considered first

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ability to care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR preferred
Patient ratio of 4:1 allows for focused, quality care
