Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and their newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safe deliveries
Assist with cervical ripening, inductions, and high-risk maternal patients
Support postpartum recovery and educate new parents on infant care
Collaborate with physicians and the care team during C-sections and special procedures
Respond quickly and confidently to any changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor or Postpartum experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
STABLE certification preferred
Experience with LDRP, NICU, or baby catching a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor and Postpartum clinical skills
Familiarity with Alaris pumps, GE fetal monitors, and Giraffe warmers
Experience with GE Centricity/CPN and Meditech EMR systems
Ability to maintain 1:2 labor ratios and 1:3-1:4 couplet ratios
Positive, proactive attitude and team-first mindset
